Avery was consider a wallflower most of her life, stand-offish and reclusive. She lacks experience on how to speak to those with gentler approaches, her brunt honesty and monotone voice always irking the people around her - and sometimes - causing some on the receiving end to cry. She may appear apathetic for doing so, but when she does make someone cry form her biting words, she is at lost on how to help them stop.
Avery is much a sweetheart to children and animals, and of course to those close to her, but she was train to have a guard up for older strangers and specifically, humans and sorcerers. She is oblivious to racism and stereotypes, but Avery herself has never realize she does it herself, judging a book by its cover before getting to know them. Its a habit, purely thanks to her father quips and small comments that stuck with her when young. Surprisingly so, she is open minded and willing to hear arguments or defenses with strong held facts.

For a Wyvern, Avery is taller than most, reaching 5'8'' (176cm), that extra height giving her a more slim and leaner built for a warrior race. She poses two small horns on top her head that curve back and dust a gray color with speckles of golden near the tips and underside.
Despite she always kept her hair short, out of the way, Avery allows a part of side-swept bangs to fall down the middle of her forehead. She sports a tan skin tone, thanks to her father's side and the fact she is usually seen outside most of her days. She may even sport very small and light freckles on her shoulders and nose, but only if one really looks for them.
Avery is not much for impractical clothing, so she is seen wearing pants or shorts with sleeveless shirts or tank tops. In the winter, she'll sport sweatshirts - about two sizes bigger than needed. The only thing she enjoys out of practicality are earrings; two small, silver studs on the high part of her left earlobe.
HISTORY
Avery was home-schooled like most Wyverns, kept away from the mainstream society. Thanks to her secluded life, Avery became a homebody and had a nonexistent filter if she came in conversation with anyone. Her home is parked between the city limits and the wilderness boundary, her family just consisting of her father and herself. Her mother left at a young age for god knows what - her father would never share why - and its always been them two since she could remember. They live with much practicality, no lavish lifestyle, and her father had always allowed her the freedom to explore the wild, and eventually, the city after her coming of age ceremony. Avery wasn't much for the city life, except she couldn't say she did not enjoy the parks and libraries.
Initially during her stay near home, Avery didn't have much of an exciting childhood or teenage years. She played in the rocky terrains and dense foliage to practice her abilities or even just change the scenery of her bedroom. She never gotten into big trouble - like nothing involving police - thus boring and quiet, just the way she liked it.
It wasn't until she hit twenty that she would travel more into Greycross for volunteer service she read about, those involving animals or children. She also started picking up odd jobs such as walking dogs and pet sitting just to pay for some little things that were deemed useless, but ascetically pleasing to her eyes - like the jewelry shining through the window displays of shops she would past by. Otherwise, anything else or anyone she meets or comes across are short lived conversations with her cold attitude, but it never bothered Avery for how little of words are exchange with her city outings.
HEADCANONS
Being part of a dragon in one way or another gives her great balance and high stamina. The only think that can knock her off her feet are a pair of high heels or too much alcohol in her system.
She hates shoes and only wears them when in the city - because her fear of germs and grime grosses her out greatly.
She loves reading, sucks at drawing but tries anyways, and has a huge fascination with heights - don't be alarmed if you see her jumping on rooftops or a pair of dangling legs hanging off the side of a building.
